About ListCraft HQ
ListCraft HQ is built and maintained by a small editorial team that researches marketing benchmarks, tests formulas against industry standards, and writes every explanation in plain English. Our content is published under the collective byline ListCraft HQ Editorial Team — because every calculator, comparison, and guide is researched, written, and reviewed before publication.
We are not financial advisors or licensed investment professionals. We are researchers and writers who compile publicly available marketing data and turn that information into free tools you can use alongside your own analytics and professional advice.
What we publish
Content on ListCraft HQ falls into three types:
- Calculators — interactive tools (ROAS, CAC, marketing budget, profit margin, and more) with formulas, industry benchmarks, and FAQs.
- Comparison pages — side-by-side breakdowns (e.g. ROAS vs marketing ROI, ACOS vs ROAS) for when you need to pick the right metric.
- Guides — longer editorial articles that explain concepts, walk through examples, and link to the relevant tools.
See the full tool list on our homepage or browse guides for narrative explainers.
Who it is for
Our audience is people who spend or plan marketing budget and need to know whether campaigns are working: DTC brand owners, paid media specialists, ecommerce managers, and freelancers pricing client work. We write in plain English and assume you care about margin and payback — not just dashboard green arrows.
How we build and review content
Each calculator is built from standard finance and marketing formulas used in industry reporting (ROAS, CAC, LTV:CAC, etc.). We document the formula on every page, show a worked example with realistic numbers, and explain common mistakes (such as confusing markup with margin, or treating ROAS as profit).
Benchmarks on calculator pages are directional ranges compiled from publicly available industry reports, platform documentation, and aggregated marketing surveys. They are updated when we refresh a page — not live feeds. Always treat benchmarks as context for your category, not as guarantees for your business.
Guides and comparison pages are written and edited for accuracy and clarity. When Google or ad platforms change how a metric is defined in their UI, we update the affected pages and note the revision date at the top of guides.
Editorial standards
- No login required to use any calculator.
- No paywalled results — outputs are visible immediately.
- We do not copy competitor pages verbatim; explanations and examples are original.
- Affiliate or sponsored relationships, when added, will be disclosed on the relevant page.
